Gynaecology and Laparoscopic Surgery

Dr Mark Ruff provides the complete range of gynaecological services. He has a special interest in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery, including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy (keyhole surgery). In addition to completing a two year fellowship in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery, Dr Ruff has also obtained a Masters of Advanced Gynaecological Surgery. Combined, these higher level qualifications give him both the knowledge and surgical skill to tackle complex operative gynaecological issues in the best manner for his patients, utilising the most up to date evidence and techniques.

Dr Ruff currently consults out of his rooms in Mona Vale, and operates at Mona Vale Hospital, Sydney Adventist Hospital, North Shore Private Hospital and The Mater Hospital. He will also be consulting and operating at the new Northern Beaches Hospital, which is due to open at the end of October this year. Dr Ruff provides a full range of management options, including conservative, medical and surgical, for all benign gynaecological issues, including:
